Why Learn Phrasal Verb Stories?
Do you want to sound like a native speaker and not like a textbook? Then you need to learn phrasal verbs.
Phrasal verbs are incredibly common in spoken English and they can be tricky to learn without a strategy.
I'm thrilled to introduce you to a series that will enhance your English language skills in a captivating way – English Phrasal Verb Stories. The title of this volume is called "A Study Abroad Tale: Felix's Adventure in the United States."
This Course IS For You IF:
You have an intermediate level in English, yet you occasionally have a hard time understanding native speakers talk amongst themselves.
You want to improve your vocabulary, but you don't now how.
You need a better strategy to learn phrasal verbs, and you want structure and feedback from a teacher.

This course comprises 10 mini stories, which together tell the story of a young adventurer named Felix. You can read while listening to high-quality audio. Each lesson contains 10 phrasal verbs to be mastered.
Practice
After you read the story, it's time to practice. The goal for each lesson is to master 10 key phrasal verbs, and you can do this by completing accompanying exercises and quizzes, as well as writing your 10 original sentences.
Get Corrected
How can you know if you're really using phrasal verbs correctly? Get corrected! Submit your 10 original sentences in the comments and get immediate feedback from me. Ask any question you have as it arises!
Repetition is Key
Teachers will often tell you that repetition is key to successful learning. The problem is that repetition of the same content can be boring!
In this course, repetition of key phrasal verbs is natural.
Each story builds on the next, and many phrasal verbs reappear as the story progress. By the end of the 10th lesson, you will have gained exposure to many key phrasal verbs a number of times.
Work Extensively with the key phrasal verbs: Read the definitions, examples sentences, exercises and quizzes and write your own original sentences for correction.
Course Curriculum
Each mini story introduces 10 phrasal verbs in the context of a story. Challenge yourself to complete one lesson per day; it should take between 15-25 minutes to complete! :)
Meet Your Teacher
My name is Shana and I’m an ESL teacher from California.
Over the past 10 years, I’ve been fortunate to share my love of English in Brazil, Spain, Germany, and throughout the US. Having taught over 3,000 online and in-person lessons, I’ve become obsessed with how to make the intermediate student's learning experience effective and memorable.
Apart from teaching, I like to bake, hike and I’m an avid language learner. I love listening to German and French podcasts and chatting with my husband Lucas and our two daughters in Portuguese!
